Start Here: Use Binance More Safely

A practical starting point for setting up a Binance account, completing verification, securing access and moving funds without avoidable mistakes.

Start with the right checks

Binance offers different products and payment methods depending on where you live. Before creating an account, confirm that Binance serves your country or region and that the product you want is available to you. Never use a false address, borrowed identity document, VPN or another person's payment account to work around an eligibility restriction. Those shortcuts can cause verification failures, account restrictions and loss of access.

CLIGM is an independent educational site. We are not Binance, we cannot access your account and we cannot reverse a blockchain transaction. Our role is to explain the checks you can perform yourself and point you to official support when an account-specific decision is required.

A safer order of operations

  1. Open Binance from a trusted source. Type the official domain yourself or use the official mobile app store. Do not register through a link received from an unknown direct message.
  2. Check regional eligibility. Available services, fiat methods and promotions vary. What appears in another user's app may not be offered in yours.
  3. Use an email address you control. Secure that inbox first with a unique password and two-factor authentication.
  4. Complete identity verification with your own current documents. Enter your legal details exactly as shown on the document.
  5. Add strong account security. Prefer an authenticator app or passkey, keep backup methods current and enable the anti-phishing code if available.
  6. Test funding with a small amount. For a crypto deposit or withdrawal, match the asset, network, address and any required memo or tag.
  7. Read every confirmation screen. Fees, minimums and estimated arrival times can change. Treat the values shown in your own account as authoritative.

Before you move money

Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible. A familiar token name does not guarantee that two platforms support the same network. Copy the deposit address from the receiving platform, verify the network on both sides and compare the first and last characters of the address after pasting. If the amount matters to you, send a small test transaction first.

Do not accept “support” in social-media replies or private messages. A legitimate support agent should never ask for your password, seed phrase, full private key or remote access to your device. If someone creates urgency, promises guaranteed recovery or asks you to send a second payment to release the first, stop.

Some CLIGM pages may contain a clearly labeled referral link. If you choose to register through it, CLIGM may receive a commission or referral benefit at no additional cost to you. A referral relationship does not change our security guidance, and it does not guarantee a bonus. Promotion eligibility and rewards depend on the official terms shown for your account and region.

Open the official Binance website and check regional availability. This is a standard official link, not a CLIGM referral link.
